  5. This note announces my upgrade policy for the audio routines disk, 
  6. effective as of July 1, 1987.  This policy is subject to change
  7. without notice.

  10. 1. This disk contains the source code that appears in the AmigaWorld
  11.    article, modified so that it compiles and runs successfully under
  12.    both Lattice C, V3.10 and Manx C, V3.4a (with patch version 1.3
  13.    installed.)

  15.    This disk also contains the text of the article as originally
  16.    submitted to AmigaWorld.
  17.  
  18.    This disk is titled "Release 2" and as such also contains the
  19.    second release of the audio tools.  I explain the contents
  20.    of this second release in a file called RELEASE.2.DOC.  
  21.    I have not repeated the explanations of the other internal
  22.    tools, see the article text and other files for those 
  23.    explanations.  The source for the demo,  the tools
  24.    (audiotools2.c) and the Manx executable file for
  25.    the second release are in the directory named RELEASE.2.

  28. 2. Future Upgrades:

  30.    I will be implementing as many of the suggestions as I already
  31.    have received as possible, particularly those mentioned at the
  32.    end of the article.  Additionally, I expect that the article will
  33.    generate a lot more suggestions and questions.

  35.    I welcome both suggestions and source code that you might work up, 
  36.    using this code and its data structures as a base.   If you
  37.    submit source code, please let me know if it is acceptable
  38.    to release it to the public domain.   
  39.  
  40.    Any source code submitted will be appropriately acknowledged. 
  41.    (You can become famous!)   If you use source code
  42.    from somewhere, please let me know where it came from so we can
  43.    all rest easily regarding its usability for public consumption.

  45.    I will take all that I receive and try to organize it 
  46.    appropriately, and mold it into a consistent package.

  51.    To receive the next upgrade, send me a blank diskette with a label
  52.    on which you have printed your complete mailing address.  With
  53.    the blank diskette, please also send me a check for $5.00
  54.    to cover the disk duplication, and the mailing expenses.
  55.    Foreign orders please add $2.00.

  57.    With each upgrade, (which will not happen any more often than
  58.    6-8 week intervals), I will announce what kind of upgrade
  59.    you might expect the next time.  Then you can decide if
  60.    you want to send in another blank disk and upgrade fee
  61.    pending the next release.
